 The foundation was opened in 1997 with original works by Chillida. To date it has shown works of many international artists such as Miró, Tŕpies, Hartung and Guinovart, amongst others. In addition to the exhibitions, it also organises debates, conferences, concerts and song recitals, and every year it invites a famous artist to create a special work of art that is donated to the Friends of the Foundation. A permanent space for the works of Niebla.
