The pottery and ceramics Museum of la Bisbal d’Empordà used to be an old factory dedicated to the elaboration of ceramic floor and wall tiles until 1984. The building’s industrial features can be appreciated in a series of architectural elements like the pools for filtering the earth, the chimneys, ovens, and so on. The preservation of these elements and their integration into the new use of the building as a museum, make the Pottery Museum one of the most singular buildings of industrial architecture.
