 The prawn is an exquisite product given to us by the Mediterranean Sea. The Palamos coast has prawns that are different from those in other places.
The fishermen from Palamos provide us every day with this crustacean with an exquisite taste and great beauty due to its red colour and its texture.
The time of the biggest catches, and also when the prawns are most exquisite, is between May and July. At this time of year, the municipalities of Palamós and Calonge-Sant Antoni offer a series of set menus based on these crustaceans so that you can taste them in the greatest possible number of ways.
The menu is the same in all the restaurants and it starts with toast with tomato and anchovies, followed by Palamos prawns, browned noodles with “allioli” (garlic mayonnaise), desserts, wine and coffee.
