La Selva is the water region par excellence!

Its waters, whether fresh, salt or in lagoons or with mineral or thermal properties give the region a wealth that can be seen in very different ways and are responsible for its particular geographic, social and economic characteristics. This mountainous region includes the natural Park of Montseny, Les Guilleries and the Serra de Collsacabra, from where numerous fluvial courses flow. Thermal waters run through the plain of the region, offering a diversity of landscapes and enveloping the areas of natural interest.

In the region of La Selva, there are diverse health spas, such as Vichy Catalan and El Prats in Caldes de Malavella, the health spa of Les Termes Orion, in Santa Coloma de Farners and El Magma, a thermal leisure centre, also in Santa Coloma de Farners.
